About Karen
Whether it’s in English or Spanish, I love getting in the booth and recording voice overs for clients from my broadcast quality home studio. Voiceover is the most fun job I’ve had. And I’ve had a lot of jobs.
Luckily those previous jobs taught me how to be efficient, on time, precise, and how to connect with an audience.
All skills I use as a voice over actor to:
*Make your deadline my priority
*Ensure my audio is clean and accurate
*Engage your audience
*Cause them to take action
My Spanish skills come from eight years of study in higher education and I became fluent while on a year long study abroad adventure in Mexico. This experience not only honed my Spanish skills but also taught me about the beautiful Mexican culture.
As a female voice over artist, I’ve been told my voice is smooth, textured, and calming. Don’t count me out for upbeat and energizing projects though because I’m a cheerleader at heart.
My voiceover clients include: TEGNA, Barkbox, Fuel Up To Play 60, The Argonaut, 2022 CIO Symposium and Awards, and Choctaw Casino and Resort Durant. I’ve narrated several audiobooks and had the immense pleasure of adding my voice to A Street Called Home, a documentary about the great Amina Robinson.
Outside of the booth you’ll find me flipping furniture, walking in the park, exploring new places, and dancing up a storm with my son.
